What is it that makes a person adventurous?

Courage?

Perhaps,

Adventure is in all of us...

Conor Lynch, dares to make that Adventure Happen.

I took up Mountain Biking and hit all the local trails. I once (or twice) injured myself at the local skate park, hitting jumps and catching air on my childhood Supercycle."

Trans Canada Trestle Bridge, Down The Trans Canada

After moving to Peterborough, I discovered Jackson Park and the Trans Canada Trail. From there, I honed my mountain biking skills and wrote "Down The Trans Canada".

Becoming "Bored" for the time with Mountain Biking, my curiosity was drawn to Long Boarding instead. Soon, I was flying down Medical Drive and hills across Peterborough, at an uncomfortable velocity.

Now, after repeated falls, scrapes and mishaps, my Parents call me "Crazy".

To me, my scars define parts of who I am and help me remember how to keep myself alive. Like growing pains, they remind me that nothing good begins with ease.

Now, I strive to bring all of my friends together through Fitness and Activity!

My dream is to create an Active Lifestyle Program to support Fitness and Mental Health.

In Fact.

Studies have proven Exercise is Equally as Effective as Properly Prescribed Medication, in aiding sufferers of mental illness.

To Me, my medication, is in the Adventure.

Mountain Biking Old Harold Town Conservation Area, Exploring Scarborough Bluffs, Standing in a Waterfall in the middle of Nowhere...

All of these experiences have helped to nourish my soul, and have collectively helped shape me into the person I am today.

When I was a kid, I was seriously lost... along the way, it has taken a long time, to get even where I am now... and I still have so much still to learn.

"Places and People (like those at Camp Kawartha, 1'st Bobcaygeon Scouts, the YMCA and Trent Summer Sports Camp), have led me to an astounding discovery! One that I intend to run with for the rest of my life."

"When I was first sent to those camps, I despaired. I had always been introverted, and was picked on by the children who didn't ignore me."

Phsyical Fitness and Skill Training has allowed me to feel confident in my body and in my life.

What those Counselors and Leaders taught me was that anyone can learn to do anything, and You can learn to do anything you set your mind to!

Special thanks go out to Mike and Ellen Olsen-Lynch, as well as Kathy McWatters, for the invaluable lessons I learned, attending these Camps and Clubs, throughout the course of my life thus far.
