The Pharmaceutical Industry and the Psychiatric Mental Health Society (not referencing a specific agency) are focused on Diagnosing People with Genetic Anomalies and Prescribing them Harmful Psychiatric Drugs to treat Real Problems with False Solutions. (most of the time)
Imagine You Are Overweight.
You are Self Conscious about your body.
You feel like you are Being Judged by those around you.
The Pharmaceutical Industry is happy to treat your Anxiety, by prescribing you a variety of Anti-Anxiety Medications.
You will Still be Over Weight, people will Still be Judging You for your Appearance and Your Health.
Now Hold On A Minute... There IS a Solution!

The Only Difference When You Take a Pill, is your Perception of these things will be Numbed, Dulled or Removed Entirely.
Now, All Pharmaceuticals have Side Effects but Side Effects Aside (ha ha), You Are Now Disregarding The Real Problem.
This means -being Overweight- You will Continue to be Unhealthy, people will Continue to Judge You and You will Suffer Adverse Side Effects to the Drug Administered to you.
This is all in addition to the monetary cost of the drug.
Now I don't want to call these Drugs, Medications. Why? Because that implies they have some Medicinal Function.
So What Is Really The Solution?
Well, Instead Of Covering Up The Problem, how about we Perform some Real Healing!
The Original Problem was being Over Weight. However, we were instead treated for Anxiety. This is, of course, only one example.
Depression also Serves A Purpose; in Directing Us to Problems and Inspiring us to Solutions. But back to Obesity.
Instead of treating Anxiety brought on by Obesity with Anxiety Relief Drugs, how about we treat the Obesity Its Self.
Obesity comes down to Two Main Factors. Fitness and Nutrition.
By Exercising, you will Burn Calories, Build Muscle and Lose Fat.
By Eating Nutritiously and Cutting Down and Eliminating Sugars, Harmful Fats and Preservatives from your Diet, you will Reduce the Harmful Chemicals in your System and Give your Body the Nutrition It Needs to Operate at Full Function.
Over Time, Following Fitness and Nutritional Guidelines will Not Only Solve Obesity... it will also solve Anxiety... and Not Just Body Consciousness...
Science tells us that Our Brains are Better Equipped to Handle Stress with Proper Nutrients and Fitness, as well as Sufficient Sleep and Wellness.
Working Out Increases Our Energy and Reduces Stress and Inflammation.
Eating Nutritiously Increases Our Energy and Reduces Stress and Inflammation.
Sleeping Well Increases Our Energy and Reduces Stress and Inflammation.

(Usually Many Things)
Figure Out What You Aspire To.
Focus On Healthy Solutions and Removing Unhealthy Obstacles.
In the case of Obeisity, Pizza, Ice Cream, Hamburgers and Soda are all Unhealthy Obstacles.
Television can also be an unhealthy obstacle (more on that another time) but it is the Lack Of Movement as we watch television that is contributing to Stagnancy and Lack Of Exercise.
If you "Must" watch Television, a Healthy Solution is to get a Treadmill to watch it on. Treadmill Desks are also available for Doing Work on the Computer.
Another Healthy Solution is to Eat Lots Of Greens and Healthy Nutritional Choices.
So Look Beyond The Immediate Symptoms and Find The Root Of Your Problems, Re-Frame Them as Challenges and Identify Possible Solutions.
